- Over-Excitation system
- Since this is a system in which the lifting magnet is overexcited by fully arcing the thyristor on the positive exciting side for a fixed period of time when lifting scrap, work efficiency is improved with increased, lifting load and shortened current rise time.
- Compact and light weight
- Having no three phase power transformer, it is a compact lightweight type with about 80% of the conventional power supply units. (Compared to our STQL type)
- Maintenance free
- Inspection and maintenance are not required since electromagnetic contactors are not used for excitation and de-excitation so there are no worn parts. The equipment is also simple since the single phase thyristor for de-excitation does not catty out single phase control but is used for switching.
- Releasing is extremely smooth
- Since a system of detecting current flow in the lifting magnet and cutting off the current during de-excitation is used, smooth release is possible for various kinds of scrap.
- No restriction on place of use
- It can be used even in harsh environments since the control panel is a fully enclosed dustproof type with its electronic circuits completely protected.
- With over-shoot
- In addition to the over-excitation system, it uses an overshoot system which causes the current to rise rapidly and is a system in which a more powerful lifting capability is achieved by controlling the voltage in three stages: 350V, 290V, 200V DC

LMPB Series
When sudden power cut occurred, a battery is going to supply DC power for lifting magnet to prevent falling material. Operator will aware of power cut by flashing indicating lamp on instrument case and beeping of warning alarm. Battery charging board is the device to charge battery for back-up to prepare for sudden accident.

- Various charging functions are installed to battery charger, and both charging current and voltage are carefully controlled by control equipment.
