| The PCA-110A controls the torque of electromagnetic powder clutches/brakes, maintaining constant tension during winding/unwinding despite diameter variation. The diameter of the material roll is automatically calculated using a signal from a proximity switch attached to the roll shaft of the material and a pulse encoder attached to the pinch roll measuring from the midpoint of the material. The torque of the electromagnetic powder clutch/brake is varied according to the increase/decrease of the material so that recalibration is not required even if the material is changed. |
